The venue, in particular, was the best I have experienced, and I've been to quite a few! The carpeted floor deadened the usual hubbub of noise; the lighting provided enough to enable everyone to see everything clearly, without being too powerful, as in Thornbury, last year, which caused layouts to overheat and malfunction; there was a plethora of Demonstrators, all anxious to answer your questions; good quality layouts; and there as ample room to circulate without the crush of Warley and Telford.
I'm sure, when word gets around, that next year's public support will be much better. Why go to Telford, when you can get it all closer at hand!

Many congratulations on an extremely enjoyable and well managed model railway exhibition. It was a real pleasure to attend. Your efforts gave modellers in the South much to savour. The show on Sunday was to me a big success and the same standard as Reading but in more amenable surroundings. Look forward to next year. Keep it up and before long it will be a rival for Telford.

"Just to say that the early arrival gang from Andover thoroughly enjoyed the Bristol 7mm Show yesterday. I think that it was unanimous that it was better than Kettering and possibly Reading, and as good as Telford. Plenty of traders, nice venue with lots of space ie no overcrowding, and friendly. So well done all round."

What a superb venue, with so much more facility on tap to be exploited. The carpetted floor and under-drawn ceiling made it a really cosy atmosphere, and that bodes for a nice friendly show, which it was. Your aisles were nice and wide so that people could stop and chat without obstructing others. Most of the traders I spoke to said they were having a good day, all that anyone needed to come and shop for was there; great selection.
Personally, the time just flew, always a sign of a good show; and the pocket money did flow!
So, onwards and upwards, tally ho next year - congratulations once again, a great show."

"My three 'O' Gauge buddies and I arrived at your show just before ten am and (apart from the RTA at the nearby traffic lights) found easy access, close (and free) parking, no queues, polite and friendly greetings from your team and excellent organisation. WHAT A GREAT VENUE. Plenty of space, sitting facilities, good catering (although they ran out of sandwiches later on apparently, but hey, who cares about food at an 'O' gauge show as long as a bacon sandwich is available in the morning!). With the added luxury of carpets on the floor, I'll bring my slippers next time! Well done to the Bristol Group for their efforts. Great show guys, really look forward to next year."
